Hey Waybacks Friends and Fans,

Summer’s here and the time is right to get out and play! With that in mind, we’ll be digging into our Northern California roots garden and heading out for a quartet of shows in early July. It’s been a few years since we’ve played the Bay Area, so we’re pretty psyched and would love to have you join us!

So, come on out if you can and if you’re not in the neighborhood, please let your local friends know what’s up.

In other recent news, we had a great time at MerleFest in late-April, paying tribute to the Grateful Dead classic Workingman’s Dead at our annual Hillside Album Hour. Joined by our musical pals Sam Bush, Darrell Scott, Jim Lauderdale, Jens Kruger, Red Young, Noah Wall, Hubby Jenkins, and Mason Via, we took a 60’s road trip’s worth of creative twists and turns, interweaving tunes from Dolly to Aretha and well beyond with the album’s timeless tracks.

Speaking of Hillside Album Hours, if it didn’t cross your path, our recording of 2021’s moving tribute to the late great John Prine, Halfway To Heaven, is now available to listen to in the comfort of your own home, car, or headspace. via both CD and digital download. Get yours now at your local Waybacks Mercantile & Boutique: http://www.waybacks.com/detail/1493/

Wishing you all a buoyant, happy, and healthy summer!
